Première réunion Speak up!

Hi, everybody

Comme convenu, notre première réunion se met en place.
Nous pourrons nous retrouver Jeudi 14/02 à la salle communale de Coheix ( c'est l'ancienne ècole ) à 18h30 pour le premier groupe, et à 19h pour le groupe "avancé".
Le premier thème de discussion retenu porte sur la mètèo. Anne nous a fait parvenir des fiches de vocabulaire pour nous aider. Je vous met le lien ci dessous.
Vous n'ètes pas obligés d'apprendre tout ça par coeur, ces fiches sont faites pour vous aider à trouver les mots lors de la "discussion"
Ne vous mettez surtout pas la pression, l'ambition de Anne et Jean-Pierre est tout simplement de vous faire progresser, quelque soit votre niveau, ds la joie et la bonne humeur

Ben voilà, notre première séance english spoken a eu lieu, avec des discussions enflammées autour de la météo ( d'ailleurs assez sympa en ce moment) . Chacun a pu s'exprimer sous les oreilles bienveillantes d' Anne et Jean-Pierre.

C’était très bien ,heureusement qu’Anne et JP sont là pour animer ,j’ai bien aimé lorsque anne nous a donné des petites photos sur la météo et pouvoir en parler entre nous et qu’elle soit présente pour nous corriger car seulement entre débutants t c’est un peu

I was very interested in a vidéo from the link " twominuteenglish.com ", but I can't get other videos from it. Have I to register on the site ? Please, can you tell me how can I do ?

Hi Witold,

Actually I played the video and recorded my own screen! To do that I am using a software called Kazam. I believe it's only available on Linux Ubuntu but there are other softwares for Windows. And maybe you can get access to the videos by signing up (= registering). Let us know if you do!

Corrections:
Have I to register on the site ? ==> Do I have to register on the site? or Should I register ...?
Please, can you tell me how can I do ? ==> Please can you tell me how to do it? or ... how I can do it? [but I would definitely (= ici 'vraiment') opt for (to opt for = choisir) the former (= ici 'le premier (choix)')]

yesterday, we was twenty walkers for a walk very nice. it's a good means transportation. Better than the car and the airplane and boat.
it's can to see the montain, the birds and cows in our beautifull country. The weather was very well and my friends very (sympathiques ) .

A important new, it's not expensive ! it's free!

To day,I have to clean my garden .I would like to enjoy  these lovely days before new snow!!
 I hate the winter! snow,fog, cold! pull over,big shoes,gloves!I prefer tee shirts,light dresses and sun sun sun!

Hi Christiane,

Your English may be a bit rusty but it is not bad at all. A couple of comments though  :

- "To day" is "Today" as you already know and you might comment on the fact that an extra space is no big deal. And you're right because anyone will understand what you mean. But take the case of "pull over". The correct translation is "s'arrêter, se ranger (au bord de la route)". If you get stopped by the police, they would ask you to "Pull over, Ma'am!". So the right spelling in your case would be "pullover". BTW (=By the way), I think sweater and jumper are more frequent.

- I haven't practiced really, since for several years. In fact I don' think "really" is really necessary  . "I haven't practiced for several years" says it all!
